The Philippines is known to face difficult challenges due to its geographic location, but when it comes to climate change all countries are rattled, as it can affect us globally. The reason behind that rapid change in our environment is caused by human activities which intensifies the impact of climate change. These actions causes a disruption in the earths natural balance, leading to different weather patterns, loss of biodiversity, rising temperatures and etc. In the Philippines, climate change is very visible, we often experience el nino and la nina.

As we can see in this image, the country is facing drought, this occurs during the months of summer since rain is rare at this time of the year, but due to climate change rain becomes more common at the months of summer but nevertheless, el nino still happens until this day.

Not only does climate change cause drought, but also floods. Without enough trees to absorb the water, flood happens. Unfortunately, people cut trees to use as a daily basis which leads to climate change.

Smoke is also a huge factor for climate change, smoke causes global warming which then heats up the atmosphere.
